We are collecting memories to put into a notebook. We want to look back for years to come, and remember what a remarkable man we were honored to know and love. Almost everyone who spent time with Al, has a special story or memory that brings back a smile for his quick wit and sense of humor, a nod of respect for his intelligence, knowledge and strong ethics, or a warm feeling in our hearts for his sincere loving and caring way. Al made a difference and touched so many lives. Please take a few minutes to write down your favorite memory of Al. Send or email it to us, bring it on the 30th, or take a few minutes at Al’s celebration to share your thoughts. We will display these memories foreveryone to read, share, and perhaps, chuckle. |

Saturday, May 30 - Come Celebrate Al’s Incredible Life with us !
Al loved and cherished life and laughter. He enjoyed casual times spent with family and friends, sharing stories, jokes, and his hobbies. Al died suddenly on April 3, 2009, but his spirit remains in all who knew him. Come honor Al with a celebration of his life at the Garber Family home in Grass Valley on Saturday, May 30. The afternoon will begin at 2:00 p.m., casual and fun, just the way Al liked it. We will continue as long as family and friends would like to stick around to share stories and memories of Al. Please bring a chair and your own beverage.
